February 22. Duchess Aileana Ashlan bears a son.

Marquis Sheriden Phineas Aaron Phaeton Ashlan was born on the Isle of Green Field. The tradition of birthing in a field was upheld, and his time of birth was just after sunset.

August 25. Prince Xander Caprios weds Annabelle Barca.

The ceremony is performed by proxy, since Xander is not in the Empire (and rumors say the wedding needs to happen soon!). Marcus Barca stands in for Xander. After the ceremony, Annabelle is entitled Princess Annabelle Caprios.

June 24. Khalani Paggion succeeds her father, Jarl Paggion.

After the untimely and accidental death of the baron of Amphorae, his eldest daughter, Khalani Paggion, assumes his mantle and is entitled Baroness.

September 18. Duchess Asha Barca of Guardians weds Legionnaire Tairell Flint.

During a traditional Guardians ceremony, the Duchess of the Isle takes to husband a man of the Legions. Very little was known of this man prior to her sudden betrothal to him. He was the dead the morning after the wedding, found murdered. Murmurs through the Empire pointed the finger at the Emperor's cousin, Lord Vincente Caprios, though no formal charges were ever placed upon anyone.

October 2. Imperial Cousin Vincente Caprios dies saving Emperor from assassination.

At the beach, an assassination attempt on the Emperor is thwarted when Vincente gets in the way. Vincente dies immediately.

November 23. Battle with weresharks at Landry.

A mass of odd creatures, termed weresharks, are said to be approaching Landry. The Imperial Fleet is dispatched with Legionnaires to defend the isle, and the first clash with the weresharks happening on this date. The Legionnaires fight valiantly, with a hideous creature of vast size seen at the center of the weresharks. This creature is lured back out to sea by the Admiral's ship.

December 11. Princess Annabelle bears son.

Princess Annabelle Caprios delivers a son, Lysander Alexander Vincente Sebation Caprios. Mother and son are healthy, even if the father is but a memory at this point.

December 23. An assassination attempt made on the Emperor.

During a gathering in the Imperial tower, some alchemical device hidden in a book explodes, doing damage to the Emperor and Empress, Princess Annabelle, Duke Raziel, Duchess Aileana, and killing Sir Seth of the knighthood.
