Appointed Council

For the last three years, since the death of Baron Eldrich Barca, the barony of Smithfield has been ruled by a council of five administrators. For several generations before that, it was held by a sibling of the ruling Duke or Duchess of Guardian, ever since the barony was confiscated from the Caesian family when the Caesian baron grew too abusive of his Barca bride.

The Caesian family subsequently split; one side made amends with the Barcas, and even holds a spot on the current ruling council. The other side still nurses their grudge.

People interested in playing the Baron or Baroness of Smithfield or a member of the Ruling Council should contact Eadric and Arianell. Because of the unique character of this barony and their current leadership situation, applicants for Baron or Baroness of Smithfield should have a strong interest in politics and drive to push RP. Applicants should take the background of the barony into consideration before compiling an application and be prepared to make use of it in RP.
