| History
Medusa's Graveyard has stood without a liege lord for as long as any can remember, although there is a manor house and it always seems to have an occupant who watches over the lands. In the last generation or so Prince Valin Caprios has been the overseer, although rarely seen. The land tends to breed people who are rather xenophobic and closed to outsiders.

| Politics

How political can a land be, if it does not even have a true liege? And yet, somehow it has not been given a liege, not in five centuries.

| Geography
Much of the area entitled Medusa's Graveyard seems to be built upon the ruins of gardens that surround an ancient manor house. Unquestionably this dates back to the time of demons, before the coming of the Champion.
It is not unusual to run into part of a maze, an unexpected fountain, or rows of cultivated plants in the midst of the spindly, spidery trees or wildly overgrown hedges. Statuary that dots the region is shockingly lifelike, people mostly captured in moments of terror. The statuary seems to endure well despite the passage of time, within only rare ones beginning to crumble.
