Background Information
History
- Sabrina was brought kicking and screaming into this world in the estates of the Miller's Isle Barony. As a child she was raised with the hard discipline of the next ruler of the Barony, and trained accordingly. Her parents also required her, as being Draughtian, to take to a trade. At the age of 8, she accidentally destroyed her father's workshop with her first invention. From then on, she was an addict to Engineering.
- Most of her childhood other than was fairly typical for a young Baronet of Draught. Growing up, she was hard to her studies, had distant friends, created her share of disasters, and all in all was praised for her discoveries. That is until her parents passed away when she was 25.
- She was then elevated to the title of Baroness and had to look more to her stately duties than her hobbying Engineering, but even so, she still found time to work. By this point she was fondly known as being 'Colorful', for she was constantly jumping from one subject to another, her mind constantly buzzing with new ideas, racing thoughts and the ocassional completely 'out there' subjects.
- It was her growing fondness of ships and wanting to improve upon them that kept her going to the shipyards of Draught, and it is there that she met young Royce, a Lord at the time. The two grew close rather quickly, despite his rather flirtatous nature, and fell in love. Shortly after her 30th birthday, she married and he was then known as Baron.
- Much like the Ducal pair of Draught, they were a warm and loving couple, but somehow never managed to have children throughout the years. His aid with the Baronial duties freed her up enough to persue her work more passionately once again. However, when she was 32, tragedy struck her. During a routine test out in the mechanic fields not far from her estate, the contraption went horribly wrong and knocked her down. An arm was broken, but something in her neck was injured. It was from here that her health seemed to decline, complaining of headaches, and her work started to slowly suffer.
- Four years later of trudging through her injury, hoping it to get better, they finally agreed that it was past time to travel to Gateway. Joining the other Baronial Seats on the Keeper's Isle, she also sought the council of one Lord Iorwerth on her injury. After about a month of being tested and treated, he found the cause. And she was cured. Or at least they hope. What lies for the Baroness beyond this point has yet to be seen.
Current Events
- The blood pocket in her neck against her spine there was found and drained by the Imperial Healer, as well as a slightly slipped disc that was fixed and thus far a seems to have cured her headaches! Now she can get back to work!
- November 05, 504 A.G. - Sabrina's brother traveled to Gateway to inform her of the passing of her husband: Royce Lancaster. After alerting the appropriate people to the news, and traveling to Draught for the memorial, the widowed Baroness made a public address, and prepared herself for taking the full reigns of her home once again.
Personality
- She is generally a very warm and bright sort of person. Quick to smile, always wanting to comfort and make others feel welcome. She is also quite courtly and polite, but knows when to take the hat off to relax around certain companies. Also can be seen as extremely random when her brain is going full speed.
Relationships
- Duchess Catelyn - Liege, and longtime acquaintance considering both have been in 'office' for a long time. Sabrina does hope to have a warmer friendship with her, but that has yet to be seen.
- Baroness Amphorae (Khalani) - Sabrina has known her for quite a long time, and sees her and her sisters as family. Khalani she loves as a daughter and is quite protective of her. Of course, with her older now, she is willing to step back and let her grow, but she takes it as a personal duty to try and guide her along the proper paths of a budding young woman and Baroness.
- Emperor Rourke - She feels that she has an understanding with the man that most just don't seem to understand in her situation. She feels oddly comfortable around him, but that in itself makes her slightly closed off.
Sabrina Lancaster died on June 29, 505 A.G. in an explosion due to an experiment gone wrong.
